For YOUTH and ADULT games in Oregon & SW Washington
Referees are independent contractors and often work for multiple organizations, leagues, events and tournaments. Below are a few links to the main sanctioning bodies in our area, plus some of the larger leagues.

For HIGH SCHOOL games in Oregon: High School Referees are members of area associations and the Oregon Schools Activities Association (OSAA). Several of Oregon's associations use OregonSoccerCentral to post referee assignments, collect game reports, communicate with officials and process referee payment. Games are played in accordance to the National Federation of High School (NFHS) Rules.

For COLLEGE games in Oregon: Local college referees belong to the Oregon chapter (OISOA) of the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (NISOA). The chapter assigns officials to D2 and D3 Ncaa, Naia and Nwacc games throughout the State .. Portland to Klamath Falls. Several of Oregon's referees have earned the prestigious 'National Referee' badge from NISOA. In addition to chapter assignments, they receive Conference assignments (pack your bags)covering D1 games throughout the Western US. Games are played in accordance to NCAA Rules.
